Workshop Administrator

The Workshop Administrator will manage job scheduling, customer communication, parts coordination, and service documentation to ensure smooth daily operations. Candidates should have prior administrative experience in a mechanical or automotive setting and be proficient in basic computer systems used in PNG workshops.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an automotive workshop or service environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Excel, Word) and workshop management systems (e.g., Dealer Management Systems).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional business or admin training is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage workshop scheduling, job tracking, and technician workload coordination.
  • Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and parts inventory logs.
  • Liaise between customers, service advisors, and technicians to ensure smooth communication.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries professionally.
  • Generate reports on workshop performance, turnaround times, and parts usage.
  • Ensure compliance with internal documentation and data privacy policies.
