Workshop Administrator
The Workshop Administrator will manage job scheduling, customer communication, parts coordination, and service documentation to ensure smooth daily operations. Candidates should have prior administrative experience in a mechanical or automotive setting and be proficient in basic computer systems used in PNG workshops.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an automotive workshop or service environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Excel, Word) and workshop management systems (e.g., Dealer Management Systems).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional business or admin training is beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage workshop scheduling, job tracking, and technician workload coordination.
- Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and parts inventory logs.
- Liaise between customers, service advisors, and technicians to ensure smooth communication.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries professionally.
- Generate reports on workshop performance, turnaround times, and parts usage.
- Ensure compliance with internal documentation and data privacy policies.
